Amazing early automotive toy made by AC Gilbert (Better known for erector sets). It has a really cool full length spring motor that is wound from the front hand crank. It is around 10" long and has adjustable steering via notches on the sheet metal holding the front axle.
It's not in perfect shape, but it has so much character I still absolutely love it!
On a side note, I'm trying to be a little more creative with my backgrounds, what do you think of the postcards? :P

Thanks for the love everyone!
Really nice piece Doc. I also like the postcards as a background for your photos. They seem appropriate to the delivery truck.
You have some great toys, absolutely love them all. Creative background........I like it, keep thinking I should do a better background behind my collection, but never seem to have time.
Really nice old toy and as a postcard collector I am always glad to see those to. Thanks for sharing all of it.
Thanks so much guys! I'm a big architecture guy, so these post cards of old buildings are really neat to me. I have a few hundred (many of which were given to me), but there's about 30 I really love. Sometimes I think I'm crazy for collecting all this stuff, but then I realize how much I enjoy it! It's always nice to be reminded that I'm not the only one who loves the hobby!
