Hi there, I was watching your show last night and I noticed a wooden dolly in front of your shop (while you were having the printing press appraised) I have one that is simular and would like to know what exactly it is. We bought it at a street fair in Lodi CA and the lady said it was for moving beer kegs, however the bars or rails are not bowed. There is a label on the side that states its from Lansing Company Lansing MI. Could you please take a look at the pictures and let me know what I have.

The Lansing Company, previously known as the Lansing Wheelbarrow Company, was a manufacturing firm in Lansing MI, but had additional sites in the U.S. It was founded in 1881. They did some philanthropic work opening schools.
They made a number of products including small engines, carts and for a time were the world’s largest manufacturer of wheelbarrows. We still use one of their carts here in the library.
The organizer and first president of the company was Arthur Orin Bement. He and his father owned E. Bement and Son’s, another large manufacturing company. They were the first firm to mass produce large agricultural implements and also were the largest manufacturer of bobsleds in the world. Stoves were another product mass produced product from Bement and Sons. Arthur O. Bement was a one-time mayor of Lansing.

Im not sure about this dolly but would enjoy sharing a picture of my rare dolly. Would like to find out what it was used for and what it is worth.
I believe it is a dollie for moving feed or grain sacks. My uncle used them in his feed store, and I also have one made by Lansing Company. Mine has hard rubber wheels on steel rims. The cross pieces are held to the uprights with wooden pegs. I was researching a value when I found your post.
I LOVE anything antique from Lansing, it's beautiful!!
