    I have no idea what this thing is. My child found this at a yard sale and it looks neat and all. It has some kind of writing on the bottom, another language of some sort. It may be silver...I am guessing and it opens on bottom and seems to be air tight...I thought it might be some flint box or something. If anyone may know what it is, please email me.

      Hi kelliegirrl31,
      Looks like you have a Picture of what I will call the top and 1 side.
      Can you post a picture of the bottom and looks like writing?

      All I can say now it it looks like a hinged lid off of something.
