Amber's present arrived yesterday. She had sent me a McCoy mug and two Lily candlesticks. I prefer to see the sticks as 'birds' that have flown in from the US of A. Perhaps they are eagles?
The candlesticks that Amber sent are on the 'shed'. A lot of the collection is 'in the shed'. As new items arrive they are tested with other objects on top of the shed. They normally work together or can force change of the spread. In this display they join the Copier thick vases, the Goldscheider Lorenzl 'Adagio', the Bulova Frank Lloyd Wright, a Vallauris 'Fat Lava' vase and the little Hungarian by Anna Berkovits (Glauber Andorné).
I love these new sticks: they are design classics! (imho)
