I had a quick errand to run, which just happened to be next door to a favorite thrift...funny how it works out that way. I did a quick run in, not expecting find anything as Tuesdays are notoriously thin. Wow was I wrong. Four Ultima Thule three toed tumblers designed by Tapio Wirkkala in the 1960s. These guys are huge. (16oz?) I mean I am a gal who likes a cocktail, but this is crazy.
Thought I was done, and was heading to the cashier. Two lovely Kosta Boda snowballs just waiting for me to take them home. I think I have an even dozen of them now.
Love love love the thrift when treasures bubble to the surface.

As for the snowballs we put ours on our terrace floor by night... the light effects on the floor are amazing!

I agree that the glow is lovely with the snowballs, but 12? And you know I will keep picking them up, especially at 75 cents like these were. I think some of them will have to be off loaded. I feel pretty confident that I will maintain a healthy usable amount. How is your week going Austro?
Finns do have a name for heavy drinking! :) The effect will beamazing with 12 of them!!! hahahaha, we put only 3, but just because mine are to heavy to take to Carlos's whenever there's a dinner...
