I got this lamp off of craigslist today and have googled all day long and cannot figure out what era, year, country or maker this antique lamp comes from. I found some italian made lamps that look like it through the bottom, but found none with the design in the middle of the post. It is Brass and did not come with an original shade. The only markings underneath say- E681 Then possibly (PAT APP F6R) although not sure about the last 3, could be FGR or something that has woore down to look that way. I love decorating my house with old things :) makes me feel good haha if that makes sence, But I also love to know where they came from or the year/era behind it! Can you help me figure it out please!? Oh and the lady who sold it to me said it had cloth wiring? when she got it 40 yrs ago. Thank you for any help anyone may have :)
