I think these are called an onion bottle.
yes they are onion bottles / spirit bottles ...the botoms were made that way to keep them from tipping over on ships n such. very old very cool
False there not "Onion Bottles" there Chesnut Flasks.. onion bottles are more short and a lot fatter ... the necks are different as well Sorry.. I would love to have these ! nice color

Aaron, do you think these are Fire Grenades or Barber bottles? I thought flasks were thinner so they can be carried in your pocket. Anyway, the tallest of the two is 8.5". the shorter one is 7.25". In all my years of collecting, I've never seen anything like them, and yes, the colors are great!
