Picked this Disney Store Watch up at an auction this weekend. Battery was dead, but it took off when replaced. Noticed the movement was marked Miyota. I think that means it's a Citizen watch. The spiral does the slow spin, and the hands are a bit hard to see through the spiral, but it's made more for looking at than telling time! Does anyone know if there was a certain cartoon scene that this was meant to portray? Was there a name to this watch?

Love the watch and and sorry running late tismorning, will try to answer your questions after work.
I've got some time , sorry slow. Yes it was made under the licenese agreement with Seiko, Citizen movement. The design, I was thinking it came from "Mickey's Nightmare", but I was wrong. I know it was taking from one of the earlier shorts, but I'll find which one later this afternoon. Thanks for sharing and I'll get back with an answer as soon as possible. Best Regards, Kerry

Thanks for the info and for checking! Lots of great watches to see here! I've got a hoard that have hardly seen the light of day for 15 years. (most all modern, but almost all new in box) I'll have to post some pics!
I've been going thru some "Mickey" short films and haven't found the one I'm looking for yet, but I will, lol. Also I am looking forward to many more postings from you, I can relate to the "HORDE", I've got a few, several more to post myself. I also want to send you a personal "Thanks" for the love and comments you've sent my way.
