Very little is know about this basket aside from the fact it is one of my favorites. Please share with me any info you might know about it, tribe, region, age, etc. I know my dad paid $475 for this basket and it is 13" tall and it has a rectangular shape, with the top measuring 13" x 10"

This looks to be made by the Salish Tribe. Alaska, and a very nice one probably made around the 1950's or so. Long grass, with Cedar strips dyed to color for decoration.
