This is a handled basket that is about 7" tall and about 13" with handle. I don't know anything about the basket and I was hoping to see if anyone knew what kind of basket this is. It appears to be old but I am not sure. Please help and your comments are appreciated.

There are many of these baskets around (I have a few myself..lol) It was made by the Choctaw or Cherokee tribes, they did use each others way of making these baskets. The tribes traded with each other and married too. I know, my dad's family is Choctaw and my Mom's is Cherokee....lol. Made of Rivercane.
