This basket looks to be from the Northwest but I am not sure. It is about 7" tall and it looks rather old. The basket doesn't have a lot of color but it does have a lot of character. I am looking for more information about this basket and I was hoping the online community could help. Anyone know the region, material, purpose, age, value, etc. Thanks and your comments are appreciated.

Tsimshian. Red Cedar with Yellow cedar. This was made for the tourist trade and I would say date is between 1920-1940. This is beautiful and I love the weave!
