The alarm isn't a ringing bell, it's a lovely little music box that wakes you to a tune. The body is some type of plastic. There is part of a paper sticker on the bottom which says "Switzerland", but stamped into the back of the clockworks it says "Gebr. Staiger" "Made in Germany". Not sure of the age.

Better match. This is likely pre-war, or during the war if it is "German" instead of "West-Germany."

This was made in Switzerland, and the clock movement was made in Germany. The Music works was likely made by Reuge which is in Switzerland. They make high quality movements.

I have a few and seen more, and the music movements have all been Reuge.
