A bottle of Black Silk Stove Polish from about the 1960's. This was used for hi-heat items such as black stoves, outdoor grills, and andirons. This is a 6 oz bottle made by J.L. Prescott Co. of Passaic, NJ. The bottle inself has the mark M in a circle which tells me it was made before 1970 by the Maryland Glass Corp.
