This is a 1920's era Wood & Glass washboard. Patented in 1918.
National Washboard Co. No. 865 Chicago / Saginaw / Memphis is printed on front and the back print is worn but legible. The back print has the name "The Glass King" trademark and also says Top Notch Soap Saving Sanitary Front Drain, Licensed by Mississippi Glass Co. and Patented July 30, 1918 and Oct. 29, 1918. The glass is ridged and very thick. Made in U.S.A.
