Can anyone tell me anything about these lights? They came from a church in Minnesota. I'm trying to find information but can't find anything about them online. They are approximately 18-20" high. I've seen one similar, but it was much smaller and didn't have the full black design on it. My family used to own the church, and I purchased them this summer from the current owner. It's a place that holds a lot of wonderful memories for me and I would appreciate any information anyone could give me. Thanks!

Usually referred to as art deco pyramid shades. Did you get the fixtures for them also? These were used in all kind of commercial buildings in the 30's. I have a set of six that came from the Alex Johnson Hotel, in Rapid City SD. I also have one with the painted design is jadeite green. Thats mounted in my Kitchen.
OK, so I have to admit I don't know much about stuff like this - by fixtures do you mean the "cap" that screws onto the top and onto which the chain connects, and the inside that the bulb screws into, then yes I did get fixtures with all of them. Are they valuable at all? (I'm thinking more along the lines of insurance purposes than selling them). Thanks so much for your response - yours is the only info I've found on them so far!
Yes, that is what I meant by fixtures. The value would depend on how ornate and the condition of the fixtures. The shades alone would be in the $200 to $300 value range, each. Of course depending on condition. Insurance value
