I inherited this item from my father. It was only the pendant, no chain. I never knew what it was but continued to take it with me from place to place. I have done some research on this and was able to find out that the signature, AMC, stands for the Jacopo brothers who sold Sterling silver items in Mexico City from their silver house called Arte en Plata and later changed to Joyas de Plata. Even though they sold their items in Mexico City many were manufcature by silversmiths in Taxco. I believe this is why in the eagle silhouette there is a #3, and immediately next to this is a faded Taxco stamp followed by Mexico 925, and in the middle the AMC signature.
I have found some other people showing different items, and some made from the same sellers, but I havent found anything like this one.
