This hat was found in my late grandmother's belonging although I never saw her wear it. I have little history about it and would appreciate any hat collector's imput. The hat itself is purple felt with a ribbon inside for the band-the peacock feathers almost completely cover it and it still has a price tag on it attached by a safety pin although you can no longer read what the price was-there are no identifying tags that would tell me who the hat maker was or where it was made. Maybe a 50's hat????

I just bought an old hat, the first one I have ever bought, but it just grabbed me. I am like you, I do not know anything about it, but I do know the designer. Yours is really nice. I am anxious to see if anyone knows about your's like I am interested to see if anyone can tell me something about mine! Good Luck! I'm going to keep my eye on yours too. Have a good day!
That is a lovely hat, but is not peacock feathers. Those are hackle feathers from a rooster or other domestic fowl. I cannot accurately date it from the photos you show, but it does look to be 1950's. B
