this was my great-great grandmothers. i have found it may be of bohemian ear. it has gold gilt, enameled flowers. very fine scroll work around the top of the lid and around the flowers. i have similar work but nothing that matches this. Also what is or was it used for?

if anyone has any ideas on this please let me know. i also have a glass, same decorations, it is like a miniature wine glass.
might be made by the glassmaker moser -- time would fit if is was your great great grandmothers -- he did the bohemian glass pieces in this style -- very ornate and yours looks to have heavy gilding
This is most likely mid century to now. many bohemian firms produce this style glass. (and now this style of glass also comes out of China) This is not Moser glass :)
does it have any stickers on it?
