I have a sign like this in a barn. Any info about it, when it was likely made , type of paint and colors, etc. Estimates of value at varying conditions. Is it better left 'as is' or restored? Know of any restorers of this type of sign? Thanks!

      Hey,

You have a very nice sign..its worth about $250..if you ever want to restore it or sell it, I would be more than happy to buy it from you

He's kidding. Any porcelain sign in at least good condition will start at around $1000 and increase from there. Value depends very much on condition of porcelain finish. That's where the real value is. Having original neon or newly replaced neon tubes don't really change the value much. I hope you decide to restore it and display it. They don't make the signs like they used to
