I found this in the GARBAGE....Knowing that some of these Ducks are collectible, I rescued him!. The body is a solid piece of wood with crude cut marks, The head is separate and has really old nails. The eyes are made of glass, and the whole thing is hand painted. Does anyone know if this should go back in the garbage?

I HAD A DUCK (FULL SIZE) AND WAS READY TO GIVE IT AWAY UNTIL I DECIDED TO LOOK UP VINTAGE DUCK DECOYS. THERE WAS A NAME ON MINE AND I SOLD IT FOR OVER $100. TAKE A LOOK FOR A NAME, IF YOU DON'T FIND ONE, LOOK ON THE INTERNET FOR OLD DUCK DECOY PICTURES. YOU MIGHT FIND SOMETHING CLOSE. TRY TO FIND OUT THE WOOD ITS MADE OF?
THE ANSWER---NO! DON'T THROW IT OUT UNTIL YOU AT LEAST CHECK INTO IT!
