      Nice clock. That movement plate looks modern...did someone spray something on it? The pivots look like they are accumulating dust and wear particles. The clock could probably use an overhaul. The sound board where the gong is attached looks pretty new although the original may have been replaced for some reason. The strike hammer has a synthetic tip instead of leather, which is also modern. We know it was made before 1990. I would GUESS sometime during the 80's.

      wow I thought it was older. The spray I don't know clock is just the way I bought it. Thanks again for the info
