THIS IS A PAPERBACK EDITION WRITTEN BY WINSTON CHURCHILL.
I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND AN IDENTICAL SET AS THESE.
MOST, IF NOT ALL, HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT TYPE WITH COLORED COVERS ON THEM AND NONE WERE DEPICTED IN A SLEEVE .
THE AUTOGRAPH ON THE END OF THE SLEEVE READS AS FOLLOWS: OBEDIENT SUBJECT AND SERVENT MARLBOROUGH
WHEN I RESERCHED THE SIGNATURE I FOUND WHAT APPEARED TO BE A LIKNESS OF JOHN MARLBOROUGH'S SIGNATURE.
(see image 3)
WOULD INDEED APPRECIATE ANY VERIFICATION OF SAME.
THE INVOICE IN IMAGE #4 WAS INTRIGUING.
WILL DO MORE RESEARCH ON MR W.H. ARMSTRONG
HE MAY HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THE BURTON OHIO CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
MY WIFE PURCHASED THIS OVER 30 YEARS AGO.
WE LIVED IN ORWELL OHIO AT THAT TIME AND SHE WENT TO SALES AT THIS CHURCH AND IT IS POSSIBLE SHE MAY HAVE PURCHASED IT THERE ALTHOUGH WE CANNOT BE SURE.
ANY HELP WITH THIS WOULD BE APPRECIATED
THANKS
BILL

British set: A 4 volume paperback set in slipcase was issued by Sphere books first in 1967 and includes the full unabridged text, albeit in a smaller typeface. $30
There was also mention of an abridged American paperback 4 volume set in slipcover by Scribner. The American set wasn't given much mention except for being abridged and less of a value.
