This was the beginning of my NASCAR stuff, uh, I mean collection. It was at a Church silent auction where I had taken my young son. To score points I boldly wrote my name at the top of the sheet winning his admiration while secretly knowing I would be out bid during the day (and therefor off the hook for $50!)
Dang Earnhardt fans! I got a call in the afternoon, not another soul had bid on this piece of automotive history.
