This blue colored Agate necklace shows that blue is really nice to combine with silver (color). The eye agate beads are in descending size, from large to small. The hallmarked locket is made of silver with a large eye agate. There are also some makers initials, but I hardly can say who’s was maker. The beads are knotted, I suppose, blue cotton thread.
The beads are mainly blue with white stripes, sometimes with some brownish and translucent white.

scandinatian_pieces, thanks for your comment. And indeed lovely to wear. Can't you repear the broken necklace? I recommend a course for making necklaces as I have done once. Very handy if something breaks!

      Hello Bratjdd,
Everything what is old and are made of real material have or get in the long run automatically value. Because you can find collectors in every area.. Therefore in this respect also our vintage Agaath necklaces supply a certain value and this will be stipulated by supply and demand and therefore the market. The weight of my necklace is is 33 gr but this weight depends on the length, seize of the beads and so on. So, real agate beads appears in several forms. To start; white lines caused by the layers in the natural stone. Furthermore different colors still for example of black, brown, translucent, blue etc. But agate beads in very bright colors are usually artificial colored. Furthermore I would like to advise you to read the article that is posted on this site with the subject: Agate.
