This is Keuffel & Esser manufactured surveyor's compass made in the USA. It is also known as Brunton-type or Pocket transit. This has a table attached to the case with the natural sines. This was used in the field by surveyors, geologists, engineers, etc. This model was made in the 1960's & 70's.
