This is a quilt from my Great Grand Aunt Flora. She didn't get a chance to finish it, it's about the size of a throw. Would it ruin the value to finish it? She passed away in 1987, and had expressed a desire for my mother to finish the quilt. As you can tell, my mother listens well....lol

I finished a few my Grandmother had not quite finished and no unless you cut it up and make a mess of it it will not decrease value :-) Does it have a backing on it now ?
No backing yet. Just the circles
i dont think these type of quilts need finishing. you can only add to it. i just started one similar to yours because of this attribute. there are no raw edges to finish so keep adding to it and pass it down.
A yo yo quilt can be with or without backing and fun to make :-)
