I just picked this baby today where it had been collecting dust over 15 years in a barn here in Virginia. The 1st picture is the ride home. I washed off the dirt for the last 3 pictures. I believe it is a 1950s vintage but I am not sure. I don't see an Ident tag but I have not fully inspected it as I had to leave for work. The motor does turn over. I'd love to know more about it. I've been a picker since the 70's and as an actual sideline since 1996. While I have bought and sold some mini bikes this is my first Vespa. Watching American Picker and their coverage of Vespas made me decide to "pop' on it!

I loooked the scooter over today and while I don't see a serial number yet the word Douglas appears raised on the from fork. So I believe this is a British version. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey I want to buy this... please email me M
I have recently found two numbers on the scooter. On the frame underneath is the number 751 272 punched into the metal. On the motor I find the number 0811804. No prefixes before either number. I'll be listing the scooter on Ebay soon.
Mike, Sam would need an email address in order to do that. Thanks!
