Hello everybody,
I love the expressive face of this painting that I just purchased from Massachusetts but, I don't know its author....
It's an oil painted on soft organic fabric (cotton?).
I would like to know if somebody recognizes the signature of the author; you can see the specimen on the little picture attached.

The painting was done on black or brown velvet, in excellent conditions.
It might be signed by John Bridges but, I couldn't find in in any collection.
Are you serious, are you the owner of this piece of art?
Are you sure that this an oil painting or is just a litography?
