I purchased this at an estate sale in N. Dallas, the bronze is unsigned and at one time it was attached to a base because it has two screw holes in the bottom. The base may have been signed but it is long gone. Alas the last owner polished it so it would sell, still a great piece of Art Deco sculpture.
I may get a base for it of black or creamy white marble and re-mount it, although on its own it is beautiful.
The original of this sculptrue is in the L'œuvre in Paris Even though it was sculpted in 1909 it has a really strong Deco feel to it.
