This is a Map Measure made by Keuffel & Esser Co. This was made in Switzerland. It was used to measure maps and drawings in the drafting, engineering, and architecture fields. This is model 62 0300 with readings in both inches centimeters on the same single dial. This version was available from 1962-1972. The wheel on the bottom was run along the map lines or drawings for measuring. This product did not have a reset button, it would have to be reset manually by the small wheel. This was used when you wanted to get the inches and centimeters on the same measurement.
