This is a gondola by Flavio Poli for Seguso, I believe. It is not marked. It's a double sommerso. I really like the suggestion of the boat floating in the lagoon. It was found at Rozelle Markets one Saturday morning about fifteen years ago. It shone in the morning light from more than 20 feet away!
The colour-way is different to others I've seen. I have another really large one as well and they work together with another glass boat in the lounge room in front of a window.

Well this is another fantastic piece of art, As you probably now, I'm not a glass person, but I really enjoy browsing the things you and several others post. This piece really caught my eye. I might have to start collecting these sorta things. Again totally fantastic piece.
This is a great piece V. I love the giant size with the normal size, must really add depth and color to your room...especially with all that light.
Love the picture of the room too. The furniture looks fantastic yet comfortable.
I know it is a gondola, and saw how you cleverly paired them with your sailboat but this also has some watermelon flavor to me.
Very very nice.
PS. I am also partial to anyone named Flavio. Hubby wouldn't go along with naming our son Flavio, which was a great disappointment.
