This is purchase i made over the weekend I totally fell in LOVE with it, but am not sure if is real Chinese porcelain or massive production. can someone translate it for me. Thanks, Enjoy!!!!!!!

    Hello, the mark is Peoples Republic post cultural revolution and reads left to right
    'Zhong Guo Zhi Zao' simply meaning 'China Made'. There is no variation in the characters to provide close dating, best guess is 1970 or later. Regards, Jim

    This item is from 1970s-2000s, but its very nice and i like it.

    It's a ginger jar and should have a lid.
    If you don't have the lid it's still an attractive piece and could be used as a vase.
    I have one very similar.
