Hello Fellow motorcycle enthusiasts,
we found this 1950's motorcycle that we believe is Italian and we are trying to identify the date of manufacture and the make and model, and we would also like to be able to find out what the value would be in this condition.
Thanks for taking a look

First, you need to give more info such as how many cc's, why do you think it's Italian, check out pictures on the internet for Italian motorcycles such as Bellini, Laverda, Ducati, Moto-Guzzi, etc. If it is not a rare bike, then it looks like it would be worth the scrap price based on the condition you are showing. If it is a rare bike, you would need to get it restored for it to really be worth anything. Surely there must be a serial number stamped on the frame and probably the engine somewhere.
I believe this to be a Rumi Super Sport. I know this post is old but I like old bikes, Italian included. Rumi was a foundry manufacturer in Bergamo Italy and made small bikes and scooters for awhile in the 50's and 60's. What interests me is the horizontal 2 stroke twin engine. They won the Italian National Championship Grand Prix in 1954 with a factory racer with this engine. Pretty good for no more time in business than they had. Rumi stopped buildin bikes in the early sixties and went back to painting and sculpting.
