I obtained this object from a private party and would like to find more information about it and the artist.
The disc is approximately 3 ft in diameter. It is a plywood back that is covered in a silver (chrome) metal. The three 'cut-outs' in the silver portion are fillrd with 'fan-folded' brass sheeting. The silver material is then stippled (?) - heavily toward the center with what appears to be a set of (the artist's) initials: DT.
What I was told by the person who sold me this was that it had been a prop (a piece of art) in a Woody Allen movie (Which one???)
Any info?

If it is from a Woody Allen movie, my guess would be Sleeper but I haven't really tried to find it yet.
