This is a balsa Towline Glider Airplane kit made by Jetco and kitted by C.A. Zaic Co. of New York. It is from the 1950's. This model was called the Thermic 50-X (Kit#G-3) and had a massive 47" wingspan when built.
This glider plane would be flown with a towline like a huge kite. The kit is unbuilt and still has all of the balsa wood and red tissue paper intact along with the fully illustrated instructions sheet. Just imagine trying to store this 4 foot wide plane when not in use. This company went out of business in 1962.
