This is my second Pennwood Model in their 300 line the first one being a 305 model. This numechron started out as a prime to start clock as illustrated by the slit on the right hand side of the open escutheon, it is now a self starter, the original movment never had a second wheel, someone along it's way decided to change the movement and keep the case. The new movement still runs but chugs but keeps perfect time for its state. The clock case is in near perfect condition. The first picture shows the 303 with the 305 movement in it, this is how the clock looked originally.
This clock, or numechron, made me look closer at my 305 model, as this one probably had the same very art deco numerals on it that the 305 does when it was new, the 302 model also had the same as the 305 from the pictures I have seen of it. Another 305 I have seen had the solid numbers on it, but the owner said that his movement had been replaced.
Since my initial posting of this numechron, I have purchased another complete with the handle finial and movement (see fourth picture). The case for the second one lacked the escutcheon plate, the case is in fair condition. I will use this second one for salvage and repairs.
