My first lighter for my collection - Belgrave 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games Cigarette Lighter.
Showing on front - Torch runner with text "MELBOURNE OLYMPIC 1956, and on reverse - map of Australia.
I've done a search on the Belgrave brand - don't seem to be able to find anything related though - feel free to point me in the rite direction - what i did find was this - http://www.leski.com.au/catalogues/a242/TOLY.php - in lot 685 - a lighter which looks the same - brand is Penguin - so not sure if mine is a copy of the origional etc but would love to know more about it or the brand if anybody can help out with information-good or bad - on the bottom of mine it says "BELGRAVE" SUPER LIGHTER - made in Japan.
No particular reason for liking it - I just think it's kind of neat looking.
Thanks for looking!
