Here is an old Porcelain, 3-dimensional, cursive "KERR" sign. It stands about 4 feet high, and is approximately 6 feet in length. The "K" is held to the "ER" by 4 small bolts, and the last "R" is attached in the same manner. Does anyone have any idea about the value of this sign? Feel free to email me on aol. Thanks, tulsadudemwm

The script of that sign is almost identical to the script of the Kerr Jar Company.
give the man a star! EXACTLY what it is! Tulsadudemrm, if u came west on hwy. 412 about 15 miles, you would run into Sand Springs, if you went south on main street untill u couldnt go any farther, you would be looking at a giant, empty sheetmetal building. well , thats not it, it used to take up 4 acers across the street. tore it down in the late 80s, Im sure they had other plants, but this was HUGE. In the end compitition from Liberty Glass (in Sapalpa)& changing times swallowed it up, along with most of the other large lower value mfg.s around here. But , i digress.
P.S. ill bet the sign was made at Southwest Porcelain Corp. ruffly the 400 block east on Charles Page Blvd. (used to be) again, anouther victim. They just last month finished leveling that major player (until the 90.s) i bielive, anyway, the porcelain sign at the one time main gate is all thats left.
I'm so jealous! Love the sign!
It's missing the last letter..... "Y" just joking around, love the sign, thanks for sharing.
good one Kerry!
