I bought these clips in a box of vintage jewelry at a local juried antique auction. I listed them on eBay, thinking they were not very attractive and actually rather cheap!! Imagine my surprise when the number of watchers and bidders rapidly grew beyond my wildest expectations. I still don't know what was so exciting about these clips, but I enjoyed listing and selling them.

VERY STUNNING:)
Do you have any idea why these clips had people so excited and interested?
Snakes, Panthers, Insects all these figural pieces are desired by collectors. When a well made true aged piece comes around people get excited. I think yours were so popular because they remained together in true pair. Not seen often enough. These are the reasons I'm attracted to them.
Thank you for your input--I wish I knew who manufactured them.
