First of all, yes Bellings68, this is "high-brow" art here in Okla. LOL . Probably my favorite Rumph mug of all time. Originally thrown in 1973, this copy depicts a bird, sitting on a hollow stump (doing his buiseness), meanwhile, inside the mug, hides a knome (or somesuch woodland creature) who has recieved the birds efforts on his head!!! He (rumph) has actually cast this little "critter" inside the mug, white droppings on the head & all!! Rumph was a strange man, killed in Cal. in a bicycle accident. (i bilieve).
