1930 ABERCROMBIE & FITCH CO. SELSI CO. SHIPS WHEEL BAROMETER -ENGLAND, i purchased this item on friday night on ebay , for $14.95 , when it arrived today ive cleaned up , but ill have to get the glass replaced which will not be very, it was like that when i bought it was a great deal , from 1930 it is 82 years old and made in england , with brass and mahogany. and at some point someone at one time tried to bend the back for some reason. but this is a great piece of ABERCROMBIE&FITCH CO. HISTORY:)the size is 5 1/4 inches tall and 2 1/4 wide at the base :)

It's no big deal Sean. C.W. doesn't have a category for it so "Ships Clock" is as good as any. The closest general categories they currently have would be "Measuring Tools", or "Other" under "Tools and Hardware" but you won't find barometers there either.
I would like to see an active "Other" or perhaps an "Unlisted" category for just such occasions as this. Maybe they could call it "Grab Bag"! :) I know that Collectors Weekly has a "Suggest a Category" link, but that doesn't really help if you're ready to post. Similar items under "Grab Bag" would indicate the need for another category. What do you think?
At any rate, this is another nice, quality item that you've taken the time to share with the rest of us. Thank you.

I just heard from C.W., they do have a catch-all category called "General (Multi-Category)", but they are going to make it more accessible. I totally missed it, but that's not unusual. I miss a LOT of stuff! :)

but i have to say this Bruce99 , i rellay do think that out of respect for A&F , CW SHOULD HAVE A CATEGORY FOR A&F:) because the company has been around for a 122 years . and they did way back in the day they had some very very high profile people shop in there establishment, like president of the united states of america back in the day and cary grant etc etc.
LOL on the dizziness! That's a tough call on the category. A&F is mainly a global retailer for clothing items in the casual luxury arena, no? If you start categorizing retailers instead of what they sell it seems to me that it could become very unwieldy to maintain. All we can do is make suggestions. If the idea fits into and improves the C.W. model, I'm sure they'll adapt it. Best regards my friend!
