Nice engraved metal shoe hook from the 1920's. Diamond type engraving on one side, name of shoe company on the other. Marked H.A. Carr-Shoes 252 W. 63rd St. (research shows it is New York City).
Usually given free back in the old days when you made a purchase, replaced by shoe horns. Nowadays you dont get anything free, not even a Thank You when you are leaving.
