I just found this adorable 17 inch tall doll yesterday and fell in love with her. She has reddish hair and a great set of dimples (just like me! :))
She has blue eyes that open and close and three teeth inside her mouth.
She looks to be composite? A few little scuffs. Also looks like she had a noise maker thing? Now silent.
Any one know anything about her? Vintage, maker anything? She has no markings that I can see.
    Thank you so much!

There should be some raised letters on back of neck and shoulder plate someplace they maybe be very faint . If you see any raised letters then rub gently a pencil over them it will make them stand out more . She looks a lot like a Horseman Doll circa 1930-40's . She is what we call a" Mama doll "as she had a crier in her stomach . These dolls are made of composition and humidity and water are their main cause to crack and peel . All Mama dolls are not equal to collectors but your has more of a character face with the dimples and smile vs what we call the baby doll face . She is delightful. Check again as writing could be very faint . Some were not marked . She is USA made doll :-) Her face is precious . Love her !
