This dark wood and leather chair accented with upholstery nails is from Sunset Magazine and purchased in 1964 from Doree Kerr Interior Designer of San Francisco. At its tallest point it is 37-in tall and 15-in wide. There are approximately 80 of them and I'm wondering about insurance and estimated value. They really have a sense of history about them, and I'd like to know more if anyone else has any information. Thank you.

We're not really appraisers here. You might want to check online auctions to get an idea of current value. It's an awesome chair, and it looks like you have a solid provenance.
Maybe someone will stop by here who knows more than me about your chair! Good luck!
