I found this in the woods on a rubble pile- remains of an old store. A coke cooler was also in the pile. I have pics of it also. I can't sell, just wanted to know if anyone has an estimated value for insurance purposes. The coke machine I found with the sign was manufactured in 1942, so I guess this is from the same period. I haven't been able to locate another sign like this, has anyone any info I can use? It is about 42" wide and 54" tall. It weighs nearly 75 pounds.

Looks to be a late 40's early 50's, if were in better shape (like minty), book value would be around $1,800. I have been looking at signs for a while and I haven't seen too many of this one, in any condition. I'd love to find one in a rubble pile for sure!!!
great sign, in 2010 I found one just like this at Hershey Car Show, the price was $ 1,200. by the car I would say this sign is late 1930's. the girl shape is fantastic !!!!
Tommy's right on. At one time, this sign had decaled lettering that said CURB SERVICE on both sides. In this condition, valued at probably $250 or more and would probably be a great candidate for a restoration project. Although I love it just the way it is.
Where exactly was the remains of this store located?
What an awsome find!
