This is a heavy blue glass ashtray. It has places on the bottom where the glass is clear. There is no makers mark. I was told it was old. I think this is pressed glass because you can see stress ridges on the sides. It measures about 5 3/4" x 4 3/4" and is a little over 1 1/2" deep. After a little more research and seeing mine in the sunlight have a purple tint I checked under carnival glass and I found the exact same shape and design described as a yellow / vaseline / canary color.
