Rogueroman
(35 items)
I have this small woven rug which measures about 32" in length by 17" wide (not including the fringe.) It is a deep dark red with black stripes running down the middle. The fringe appears to be hand knotted (41 on each side) and are approximately 1" apart.
If anyone could help me to identify this - the maker, it's use, an age and even a value, it would be greatly appreciated. I will be happy to list or send more photos if requested. Thank you in advance for your help.

Just a suggestion ..... could it be Scandinavian?
I suppose it could be. I never even thought of that. I picked it up at a yard sale and immediately thought Indian or Mexican. Any suggestions as to where I might find more info. Now I am really intrigued.... Thank you.
