Hard to find the real thing. Most pieces out there are the Kralik copy.
Mine seems unusual in that the surface treatment is an oil spot papillon rather than the silberiris or un- iridized crystal.
In the first photo what looks like little scratches are actually "spaces" between the spotting. Polished pontil.

      OK THAT'S FINE

I think when you get this in your hands you will find that the finish is Cisele rather than Papillon. Cisele consists of dense spots and usually lots of craters or pits in the finish while Silberiris is shiny and smooth.

LoetzDance : but isn't Cisele green ? This is gold/yellow.

Cisele like Silberiris is a powder coating that is sprayed on so booth decors exhibit "dots" or spots. Silberiris is a very fine, smooth coating while Cisele is thicker and tends to show craters or pours. Cantz describes Cisele, p290, as: "an almost opaque application of variously sized silver-yellow granules". This decor is found on many ground colors including candia, Crete, Diana, blue, cobalt, pink, etc. Delphi however is found only on Crete. Below is a link to a photo album of our Koloman Moser Crete Cisele vase. Included in this album are photos of various examples of Cisele that are exhibited in the Passau Glass Museum.
