Hi Everyone!!!
I love art and picked this up at the local thrift store ( I love thrift stores!)
This is a large framed painting on burlap. Cherry blossoms - bamboo - butterfly's. . so I wondered if it could be Japanese? It also has some sort of writing - letters - that I of course, do not understand and wondered if anyone out there could help me out on this... I would really appreciate knowing anything about this. . . what the letters say - who may have made it. .
It is unsigned, and the paint looks like it could be acrylic - though not an expert on paint. There were a few other pieces of artwork at the same great thrift store and I picked them up too... Maybe an estate clean out - which held a lot of mid century works. I still haven't identified a couple of things... but I'm slowly working on it.
Once again... Many many thanks to anyone who could give me even a hint of what the letters mean. . . maybe it's the artist's signature?
