This is a first printing of a 1965 Dell paperback titled "The Beatles in HELP!" The author of this "novel" is Al Hine, who also wrote a novelization of the '60s TV show "Bewitched."

I didn't want to scan it because I did not want to ruin the spine, but at the end of the story, page 156, there's an inexplicable dedication that reads: "This book is respectfully dedicated to the memory of Mr. Elias Howe, who, in 1846 invented the sewing machine".

    Hi mysharona:
Usually the edition info is on the title page or one of the pages before the table of contents. For more about first editions, check out this interview with Matthew Haley:

Please post some of those Beatles paperbacks. I'm sure lots of people would love to see them!

Somewhere I have a black and white copy of part of the Movie " Help " . As far as I know there is no sound , just parts of the movie . It came with a little hand held viewer . I think I ordered it out of some fan mag. I know I still have it here somewhere . I have not thought about it in years .
